NONSTOP BRADLEY AIRPORT SERVICE TO DENVER BEGINS SUNDAY
DAILY FLIGHTS ON SOUTHWEST AIRLINES OFFER

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (March 12, 2010) - While it may be pushing 60 degrees in New England, the snow in Colorado is close to epic, with Aspen, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Snowmass and Telluride receiving from 9 to 17 inches just this week alone according to Onthesnow.com.
Starting Sunday, Mar. 14, Spring skiers and snowboarders, business travelers and vacationers can fly to Denver nonstop from Bradley International Airport seven days a week thanks to Southwest Airlines. The new service will provide travelers with the only nonstop flight between Denver and the Hartford area since 2007.
One flight per day Sunday through Friday will depart Bradley (BDL) at 8:10 a.m., arriving to Denver International Airport (DEN) at 10:30 a.m. (WN 1317). By arriving in the morning, passengers can connect with Southwest cities throughout the western U.S. The return flight (WN 1292) leaves Denver at 3:45 p.m., arriving at Bradley at 9:30 p.m. The Saturday flight (WN 1335) leaves Bradley at 9:05 a.m., arriving 11:25 a.m. Another Saturday flight (WN 1033) leaves Denver at 11:20 a.m., arriving at 5:05 p.m. to Bradley.
Passengers aboard the flights will enjoy the comfort and convenience of Southwest’s all premium leather seats and plenty of legroom with a young all-Boeing 737 fleet.
"The first week of bookings are very strong and advance reservations for this new route continue to trend up. Skiers are thrilled about this new low-cost service, along with local business travelers who finally have an alternative to flying to the Rockies instead of first driving to Boston or New York,” said Bradley Airport administrator Eric Waldron.
