Bradley is designed for convenience and ease of use for everyone. Here's an overview of the access features most often used by Bradley passengers and visitors.
Passenger Pick-Up and Drop-Off
All passenger pick-up (lower level) and drop-off (upper level) locations are accessible to airport entrances. Skycap service is located on the upper level to assist with baggage.
Contact skycap stations or airline ticket agents on the upper level for wheelchairs and assistance. Your airline should be notified in advance if you require any special assistance.
One elevator is located in the center of the south wall across from the American Airlines ticket counter and second elevator is located to the right of the main security checkpoint.
Commuter Carrier Lift
Bradley International Airport offers a specially equipped lift to facilitate boarding by individuals with disabilities on commuter aircraft. Passengers must contact their airline in advance to make arrangements for the equipment. Some exceptions do exist with certain aircraft types. Check with your airline for more information.
All restrooms at Bradley International Airport are wheelchair accessible. A unisex companion-care restroom is also available adjacent to baggage claim area four on the lower level.
There are two TDD (TTY) phones for the speech and hearing impaired located in the baggage claim area of Terminal A (across from the escalators).
To assist with baggage handling, luggage cart dispensers are located throughout both Terminals and may be rented for $4.00 each with a rebate of .25 issued upon return of the cart. The dispensers are equipped to accept credit cards.
