Bradley International Airport Offers a Mail-Back Program for Prohibited Items
For a $14 fee, the Paradies Shop in the pre-TSA screening area at Bradley can help you mail prohibited items to an address of your choosing in the U.S.. The service includes an address label, protective packaging and a stamp. The store provides same-day Postal Service pick-up. Though the item (s) is returned to the item is turned over to the Postal Service on the same day it is received from the passenger, it can take 7 to 10 days for it to reach its destination.
Items weighing as much as a pound can be sent. Certain items, such as ammunition and blue-flame lighters for pipes, cannot be sent via mail and still will be confiscated by the TSA. Also, items considered to be fragile cannot be mailed through this service.
